Kroger California Seasoning Blend Garlic Powder and Kroger Special Seasoning Blend Lemon Pepper were recently recalled because an ingredient in the product may be contaminated with Salmonella.
Stores under the following names in 31 states are included in the recall:
Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, Fry’s, King Soopers, Smith’s, Dillons, QFC, City Market, Foods Co., Jay C, Scott’s, Owen’s, Baker’s, Gerbes, Hilander and Pay Less.
To date, there have been no reports of illness associated with the recalled products.
The following items are involved in the recall:
- Kroger California Seasoning Blend Garlic Powder with code dates of DEC0312PS2 and DEC0412PS2 under the following UPC code: 1111066599
- Kroger Special Seasoning Blend Lemon Pepper with code dates of NOV0512PS2, DEC0312PS2 and DEC2812PS2 under the following UPC code: 1111074492
Consumers should not consume the recalled products. They can be taken back to the store of purchase for a refund or replacement.
